Tennessee - K-VA-T Foods Stores, Abingdon, Va., opened the Tri-Cities’ newest Food City
Superstore 6 June 2003 at 2120 S. Roan St.
Eight months under construction, the 43,000-square-foot superstore is described by company officials as the most modern grocery in the Tri-Cities region.
"It’s certainly the nicest store we’ve ever built here and, I think, it’s probably the nicest store in the entire Tri-Cities," K-VA-T President and CEO Steve Smith said.
