1"
AND 2" DELTA WOOD BLINDS
Delta
Woods offers a choice of 1” and 2” slats that are hand
selected from real American hardwoods in both stained and
painted finishes. All of Delta Woods, wood components are kiln
dried to a 7% or less moisture content, which means a lighter
weight blind with straighter slats. You’ll notice the
difference right away with the higher sheen and smoother finish.
Delta Woods superior lacquer finishes are twice coated, and then
oven cured for durability. Quality is prominent all the way,
from the superior headrail system to the smallest detail such as
ergonomically designed wood tassels.

Specifications
1.
Signature Series Delta Woods headrail is a “U” shaped
configuration, dimensions are 2”h. x 2 1/4”d. with rolled
edges at the top. Fabricated steel is 0.024-inch thick (before
paint) and iron phosphate treated. Headrail is acrylic primed
with a finish coat of baked polyester enamel to color coordinate
with end support brackets.
2. Operating hardware is snap-in design. Tape roll and tape roll
support are made of acetyl low friction thermoplastic, which are
self lubricating and maintenance free for smooth operation and
diminished wear on lift cord and ladder.
3. 2” Crash-proof cord lock is a snap-in design that has a
nylon roller, which the cord smoothly passes over. A secured
steel roller onto a hinged lock facilitates “crash-proof”
feature. “Crash-proof” safety feature locks the blind
automatically whenever the cord is released. 1” cord lock is a
snap-in design, steel bodied unit. The cord smoothly passes over
a Delrin plastic roller, and a floating geared roller, which
initiates the safety feature and automatically lock the blind
whenever the cord is released.
4. 2” Delta Woods is available with either a cord tilter or
optional wand tilter. Cord tilter utilizes a corrosion resistant
steel worm and gear system, enclosed in a metal alloy body. The
cords operate smoothly by an incorporated pulley and cord guide.
Optional wand tilter is a precise self-lubricating thermoplastic
worm and gear mechanism encased in a plastic housing. 1” Delta
Woods are available in wand tilt only.
5. Tilt rod is square in shape, composed of steel and implements
an instant tilting action. Diameter is 1”.
6. Wood slats are nominally 2” and 1” in width. Slats are
milled to a thickness of .122-inch (+- .0005).
7. Braided ladder and cloth tapes: braided ladder is constructed
of polyester yarn with a double crossed inter-braided design for
maximum slat support. Ladder spacing between the slats is 44mm.
Cloth tapes are constructed of a high strength rayon cotton
blend. Spacing is 1 3/8”; width dimensions are 1 11/16”.
8. Lift cords are constructed of a braided polyester jacket with
a rayon center core. Diameter of cord is 1.8mm.
9. Sculptured bottomrail is nominally 2” wide and milled to a
thickness of 5/8”000000.
10. 2” steel installation brackets are designed with a hinged
cover. Brackets are inside coated with a wash coat of polyester
enamel. Then finished coated with baked polyester enamel to
color coordinate with headrail. Intermediate support brackets
are furnished with blinds over 48” wide. |
