CONTRACT
2220 MEDIUM DUTY VERTICAL TRACK
When
considering a vertical track for those budget-influenced
projects, Contract 2220 just might be the answer to help keep
the budget manageable. Even though Contract 2220 is economical,
quality and dependability are not sacrificed. Every component
that goes into Contract 2220 says heavy duty from the standard
wheeled carrier with replaceable stems to the recessed
planetary-geared controls that provide smooth operation. Options
aren’t a problem; you can add the new “all in one control”
at no additional charge. Contract 2220’s extruded aluminum
channel is available in either a white or ivory painted finish
eliminating the need for valances when the head channel is in
view. Installation is a snap with the steel spring- loaded
brackets. To keep things safe, Contract 2220 is backed by a
limited lifetime warranty.

Product
specifications
1.
Head channel is one piece extruded white or ivory painted
aluminum alloy with a wall thickness of .039 +- .006. Channel
dimensions are 1 15/16”w. x 1 5/16”h.
2. Traversing is accomplished by a lead carrier and activated by
a cord and free wheel pulley system. Optional wand control is
available. Traversing is available either one way or two way
draw.
3. Rotation mechanism is a planetary gear system and is
activated by a #10 nickel-plated bead chain. Optional wand
rotation is available. Extruded aluminum pinion rod spans from
drive end to idle end, upon chain being drawn rotation force is
transferred from the gear assembly to each carrier actuating
louvers to turn a full 180 degrees.
4. Carriers are 1 3/4”w. and traverse on celon acetyl plastic
wheels. Carriers have a detachable plastic stem centered in
carrier unit to secure louver. Auto-rotate Guard is a low cost
option in lieu of basic standard carrier.
5. Louver spacing is available in both 2” and 3 1/2” widths.
A flexible acetyl plastic scissor system spaces and stabilizes
each carrier by passing smoothly between special stabilized
guides. System is designed to equally space louvers and minimize
the draw force required to traverse the louvers.
6. Louvers will rotate 180 degrees and when traversed stack into
approximately 7/16” per louver. Louvers in widths of 3 1/2”
and 2” will overlap approximately 3/8”.
7. Louver style choices shall be available in 3 1/2” widths in
both f.r. and non-f.r. fabrics, PVC and aluminum. 2” widths
are limited to PVC vanes only.
8. Size limitations: maximum width is 191”, maximum length is
120”.
9. Installation brackets are available for both inside and
outside mounting. Installation is facilitated by snapping
spring–loaded bracket into both extruded front groove and
extruded rear groove. Brackets are heat-treated, zinc plated
steel and are designed to support the weight of the vertical
blind plus the forces to operate them. |
