The
main office of Andrew Johnson Bank is located on the corner of
Main and East Church Street. There are three branches in
Greeneville; 11-E Bypass, Snapps Ferry Road, and West Main
Street.
There is also a branch in Morristown
and Jonesborough With a total of six locations, the bank
provides the facilities from which the challenges of the future
can be met and the financial services of today improved.
Greeneville's
home owned bank was officially chartered by the state of
Tennessee on February 18, 1975 as City and County bank of
Greeneville, with Charles M. Armstrong as President.
The bank's downtown location was purchased
in June 1974 by Mr. Armstrong in anticipation of establishing a
bank in Greeneville.
